Sadly this isnt a post saying im coming back or anything :( just felt like letting old FFXI friends know that im alive and well.

Been working for 6 months now at the Marriott Hotel, it is a great laugh and a load of fun.

Other things ive been upto as late, going into London to mess about with friends and going to local gigs.

Its weird being free from FFXI, all the time I wish I could come back, but then I like how much freedom I have right now and I enjoy it.

Got a Bass Guitar :s self teaching myself that.

Other then that, I just hope everyone else is good and well, drop me a comment, really want to talk to you guys :)

An LJ entry which is a month over due.

Im indeed well. I got a job! I work as a House Porter at the Marriott Hotel near me. Its only a 10 min walk away so its pretty cool, also my best friend works there so it is fun to hang about with him at work too.

Life is pretty good FFXI-less. Sure I miss all my friends, but not having to worry that im missing LS events, and getting stressed seeking for hours, hunting NM's .ect, is great. Also means if my friends invite me out with short notice (which they always love to do) I can 9 times out of 10 go out with them, compared to my maybe 3/10 when I had FFXI going.

I still dont know what to do with this Journal, since I dont really want to turn it into a RL journal, but I still wish for my FFXI friends to know how im doing.

Back to about work, I have to get up pretty early, I start at 7:30am, and normally get up around 6:30ish (Yeah i know its only a 10 min walk like i said, but im not a morning person, need to crawl around just to get ready) and most of the time im in bed around 11pmish at night. So really this would mean there is not much point in FFXI for me, since like a said before, hard for EU's which are not in school or college.

Cant belive this is actually happening, and I know its lame because so many people have done it lately but.....

Think im going to suspend my account starting next month :(

Yes it sucks alot, but please keep it that im NOT deleting / selling my account, just suspending it for a few months.

Here are the reasons why im doing this :(    

1. In the last month, the only time ive ever logged into game is to check on my Chocobo for 5 mins, then log off. The monthly fee isnt worth just doing that.

2. I've finished college now, and am currently seeking for a full time job, and this means I cant stay up to 5-6am playing when I have to go job seeking / look good for interviews the next day.

3. Sort of on lines of 2, Im really sick of staying upto them hours to do events and stuff, and I couldnt find an EU active LS to do end game stuff with. But even simple things like seeking part, can take an EU soo much longer / mean I have to stay wake longer, since 8pm my time seeking, the JPs wont invite me, and its too early for NAs to be online.

4. On with timming theme. When I do get a full time job, I 100% wont be able to stay up that late any more, so until I get one, and know what hours I work and what I dont work, I wont know when I can play or not.

5. My Social life is starting to pick up! I know, shock horror. My friends want me to go out more and more, and get more pissed off when I say to them I cant because im seeking for a party.

6. Looking for a Girl Friend, very hard to do when you spend all your time in on a game.

7. Between now and X-mas tons of other, Non fee games I want come out, and I wont have time to play them all, and FFXI. Kingdom Hearts 2 (Yes I know you guys have had to for months!!!!!!!!) comes out over here end of this month. Damn living in PAL sucks. and I really want to play that, amoung over games.


Im sorry :( My plans, is to see after the new year, by then i'll know how much time I have to play and would be done with most of the x-mas rush of new games. Maybe then i'll back.

Lastly, im growing some Chocobo Feed on one of my mules. I use to garden alot before the ore market fell out. So just needed to plant up. Not fully grown yet, but some are flowering.

RAWR!!!!!!!! ISLEY UPDATE!

Not been up to much, but I do come bareing a few SS's of my current going on's, plus words to go with and for times when the tard forgot to put fraps on.

Me and Dolo tried to do a Onzozo NM day and tried for the Gob that drops Magic attack earring (For him) and Ose for me. Well got a few claims of the Goblin, no drop, and Ose poped right as we came to camp and another person got it ; ; but we stayed up there killing mobs to see if we could gbet Ose to pop again. Well he didnt pop, but what did was....



As far as a Duo PLD/WHM and WAR/NIN goes we did pretty good. Got it down to like 10-15% before he did some massive TP move when Dolo's Shadows were down and killed him in one hit, resulting in me invicabling and tele-mea'ing. When we camp back and were at full a random 75 bst got it and was trying to kill, but had great trouble, so we invited him and the 3 of us killed it. I got a hide, which im still trying to sell like 3 weeks later! keeps coming back to me off the AH -.-

Gosh they do make me laugh :) we need more Japanese people speaking english!

Since DF sort of broke up on the Dynamis front (I would have has to give it up anyway soonish, cant stay up to 5am on weeknights as soon as i get a full time job) i joined a EU LS who were new looking for memebers. Well we did a bastok run the other week, there first ever. We only had 23 members show up, but since I still need AF, and have clear i didnt mind the farming run. 

But one thing I did find out was! my AF curse doesnt just work with DF, its just Dynamis as a whole. Only me and another PLD lotting on PLD, so 50/50 im going to get it, well it manages to drop (Other drops were SMNx2) and we lot. Take a look at the lots, and laugh.



Well we was going to try a run on tuesday but due to not enough members / Leader going afk and not coming back, we had to cancel. Daggoth was there at the Gather together of the Dynamis, and I asked him what he was going to do next, and he said he was going to go get Uleguerand Range map, so I asked if I could tag along. We spend about 2 hours or so farming my Hobgoblin Hotrok (Daggoth had one of his own) then we headed up for the climb. Again PLD/WHM ftw :p and managed to sneak and invis ourselfs though. Only one spot of aggro right at the end of the true sight mobs by me, which I started to panic about, ready to die in a safe spot and have Dag raise me, but he Slept the mob, and we both logged out! First time ive ever done that with aggro, and felt like cheating! but hey, im not complaining.



Wanted to get closer, but thought that was enough. Now ive seen Tiamt and Jormungand in person :p

Slide down the mountain was fun, all in all was good, felt sorry for Daggoth because we got to the ??? you trade to, and it turns out he left his Hotrok in his mog house :X so i got map and he didnt :( i felt really bad for him after that, since it was his idea to do the quest and all. but since then he has got the map, so all good I surpose. Only a waste of time not exp :)

Now onto COR.

Got 55 yesterday so now I look pimp :) well pimp until 58 and AF body :p



Gallent Roll was a big let down. Thing says Damage Reflection. which I thought to belive would be every so offten, a  counter, type move, were damage the mob was surpose to do goes back to mob. Well no, all Gallent Roll is is a AOE Blazing Spikes -.- which dont even do that much, and the mobs normal attack still gets though. In a quick test of it, I rolled lucky number (3 for those keeping score at home) and the spikes only took effect every 3 hits or so, and only for 1-2 HP damage. Big waste of time, SE needs to change to discripsion to AOE Blazing Spikes, and no Damage Relfection. Fingers crossed BLM Roll at 58 is better.

Lastly, Earlier on today I did Besiged with Daggoth and Felidae on COR. All went smoothly, but I did manage to set a new record for the amount of damage ive tooken from a single move.



No idea what the move was either, just felt it.

Well know it was crappy but meh, maybe more intresting post next time?

Good job I have 1 Merit point saved away, and im 5k tnm! sucky thing it doesnt tell you what these new abiltys are -.- which is unfair beucase jobs like RDM and BLM know what Bio III and Flood II will do!

Also I can sence it being really hard to find 73-75 camps for the new few months while all the 75's level like crazy to get new stuff.

Some nice stuff. I think for me, im gonna get Chivalry first. followed by Guardian, then Fealty and Iron Will as and when. Thats how I see them in order of importance. Sure other PLD's may think diffrent, Discuss if you will.

Well. 1:38pm (gmt) now. and i've spent from 9am in A&E (Accident & Emergency ward. like americans ER i guess). 

Last night I was at a park with friends. Just messing about on the childrens play equipment. As you do!. Well at one point I was on this sea-saw swingy thing (hard to explain :S had to explain it to the doctors) one friend pushing it really fast. I tell him to stop as im going to fall off. Next thing I know im on the floor, Friends all laughing around me. I get up. Rest for like 20 mins, then walk home. Even though my friends wanted me to stay out.

I waited awhile before going to bed about 2am-ish. (Yes I am a good boy. Told my mum soon as I got in :P) but I woke up around 6:30am all dizzy then ran to the bathroom to throw up. I was soo dizzy i kept throwing up. No food in my stomach becuase of the sleeping, so bile went first -.- then once that was gone all this mucasy stuff, which really hurt :(.

Mum phoned the NHS helpline (Health service helpline) which told us to go to the A&E.

Well after some waiting I had to have a CT Scan on my head. (No clue if you call them that :S scans which can slice apart the brain into tons of pictures) I wanted to see them, but they didnt show me -.-

After more waiting got the results saying that I had no interinal bleeding or damage to the brain. Just a concussion. :(

Gonna feel shitty until at least monday.
Was meant to do more BCNM40's tonight with Dolo and Moz. Not sure if ill be upto it now.
Dynamis Windy on sunday. Should be ok to go it. But I guess it depends on how im feeling sunday.

Spain are out of the World Cup. One isnt too amused about this.

Guess ill have to surport England now, and hope that Brazil rape France for me!

Know I dont normally post on here much about real life, and I dont really want to, but the girl i've liked for close to 2 months has for a BF, which isnt me -.-

I feel really sad, i've spent ages trying to empress her, and the killer thing is, She came to me a while back looking for advice wither or not she should go out with this guy or not, but at that stage she didnt know I liked her, and of couse, being the gnetleman I am, I gave her honset advice to get with this guy.

It sucks I really like her and now i just feel like shit :(

Real Life!

On my last week of college then im free (enless work isnt done then still have to go in week after). Not going to Uni now. Too many other things going on which I need to take care of first. Mainly: Money, Want to learn to drive and the fact not sure if I can be arsed with 3 more years of schooling, already done 3 extra then all of my close friends. So plan is to pick up more hours where I work now come Augest time. And look for a new full time job, all the while learning to drive. 

Other news, one of my friends I have known close to 7-8 years now, mother past away on wednesday. It really got to me as the guy is my age :( although I didnt really speak to his mum much it gave me a lump in my throat when I found out.

Final Fantasy Life!

Still havnt had time to log on to do very productive things. Dynamis Windy was meant to be last night. But DF had to cancel since only 27 people showed up and (dont quote me on numbers) think it was only 4 BLM's and 1 RDM, so to save exp lose we just pulled plug on it. This left me in a predicament. It was 1am (normal dynamis time for me) I had already tooken a 4 hour nap to get me though Dynamis and now nothing. First of all I was just going to log and try to sleep. But saw one of the people in DF were making a party, and Since i was only 5k over 75, and never really time to seek figured I would use the time i set aside for Dynamis wisely and exp.

We went to new area to fight trolls. It was my first time exping in a new area and was fun. Now im 13k over 75, got tired it became 5am and went to bed. going to lose most of that in dynamis.

Ooo also I was very flatter by Clint, he sent me a few tells yesterday beucase I have appiled to join DF, asked me my times i can normally log on and such, and then he told me that he likes me style :D Know nothing big in that but still, tanking is an art, every tank has there own style i would say (yes each PLD NIN and WAR are diffrent) glad someone likes the way I tank do it.
